01 · Logistics Shipping, Customs & Delivery to the United States We ship from our factory in Brazil to all fifty U.S. states, plus Puerto Rico and U.S. territories. How your order travels depends on which of our three programs you are buying under — sample and retail orders move by international express courier, wholesale and private label production moves by air or ocean freight. Processing times
  • Samples and stock pieces: dispatched within 2 to 4 business days of cleared payment.
  • Wholesale orders from stock: 5 to 10 business days, depending on quantity and size breakdown.
  • Private label production: 30 to 60 days from approval of the final tech pack, sample and artwork. Your confirmed lead time is stated in writing on the proforma invoice before any deposit is requested.
Production days are counted from the date we receive both your approval and your deposit — whichever arrives last. Brazilian national holidays and the annual factory recess in the last week of December are excluded, and we flag them in advance whenever they fall inside your window. Transit times and carriers
  • International express (DHL, FedEx, UPS): typically 4 to 8 business days door to door, with tracking from pickup to delivery.
  • Air freight: 7 to 12 business days to major U.S. gateways, for mid-size production runs.
  • Ocean freight (LCL or FCL): 25 to 40 days port to port, the standard route for full production runs and the lowest cost per piece.
Transit times are carrier estimates, not guarantees. Customs inspection, port congestion, weather and carrier backlog can add days that are outside our control, and they do not constitute grounds for cancellation of a confirmed order. Duties, taxes and customs clearance Apparel imported into the United States is subject to duty rates that vary by fiber content and construction, and to U.S. Customs and Border Protection clearance. Unless your quotation explicitly states DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), all quotes are issued FOB or CIF, which means import duties, merchandise processing fees, harbor maintenance fees, customs brokerage and any applicable state taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
  • Shipments valued under the applicable de minimis threshold may clear informally; larger commercial shipments require a formal entry and a customs broker.
  • We supply every document needed for clearance: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading or air waybill and fiber content declaration.
  • Every garment is labeled in compliance with U.S. requirements — country of origin, fiber content, care instructions and RN or importer identification where applicable.
Buying under a private label agreement? Your brand is recorded as the importer of record unless we agree otherwise in writing. We will walk your customs broker through the paperwork on your first shipment at no charge. Lost, delayed or damaged shipments Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer under the Incoterm stated on the invoice. We file and follow every carrier claim on your behalf, and we ask that any visible damage be photographed before the pallet or carton is opened and reported to us within 5 business days of delivery. Cargo insurance is available on request and is strongly recommended for ocean freight.
02 · Returns Returns, Exchanges & Quality Guarantee We manufacture what we sell, so a defect is our problem to fix — not a discussion. What follows sets out how we handle it, and where the line falls between stock orders and production made to your specification. Stock and sample orders
  • 30 days from delivery to request a return or exchange on unworn, unwashed pieces in original packaging with tags attached.
  • Email contato@tjconfeccoes.com with your order number and photographs. We issue a return authorization within 2 business days.
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of the goods arriving back at our facility or at the address we designate.
  • Return shipping is on us when the piece is defective, mislabeled or not what you ordered. It is on the buyer when the reason is preference, fit or a change of mind.
Original outbound shipping charges, duties and taxes already paid to third parties are not refundable, since those costs are not returned to us either. Wholesale orders Wholesale purchases are commercial transactions between businesses and are final sale. We do not accept returns for unsold inventory, seasonal leftovers or reordering errors. We do stand behind the goods: any piece with a manufacturing defect is replaced or credited in full, provided the claim reaches us within 15 business days of delivery with photographs and the lot number printed on the care label. Private label production Production made to your tech pack, in your colors, with your brand on the label cannot be resold by us. It is therefore non-returnable and non-cancellable once the pre-production sample and artwork have been approved in writing. This is why we never skip the sample stage, however tight the deadline.
  • What is covered: stitching failures, fabric flaws, color deviation beyond the approved tolerance, print or embroidery defects, incorrect measurements against the approved spec sheet.
  • What is not covered: normal variation in dye lots within the agreed tolerance, damage from improper laundering, ordinary wear, and design decisions you approved at the sample stage.
  • Industry tolerance: as is standard in apparel manufacturing, we ship and invoice within a variance of up to 3% on quantity and up to 1 cm on garment measurements.
Every claim gets an answer from a human within 2 business days, and a resolution — replacement, credit or refund — within 10 business days of us confirming the defect. If we got it wrong, we make it right.
03 · Payment Payment, Pricing & Sales Tax Accepted methods
  • Online orders: major credit and debit cards, processed through a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Wholesale and private label: international wire transfer (SWIFT) in U.S. dollars. Bank details appear only on the proforma invoice we send you directly — we will never email you a change of bank account, and any message that does is fraudulent.
  • Bank fees on international transfers are the sender's responsibility. Please instruct your bank to send the invoice amount in full, with charges paid by the originator.
Production payment terms Private label and made-to-order production runs on a 50% deposit at order confirmation and 50% balance against shipping documents, before dispatch. Established accounts with a track record of on-time payment can request net terms after three completed orders. Deposits are non-refundable once fabric has been cut, since that material can no longer be used for another customer. Prices and currency All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of duties, import taxes, customs brokerage and destination charges unless the quotation says DDP. Quotations are valid for 30 days from issue; after that, raw material and freight costs are re-checked before we confirm. Prices for goods already confirmed on a signed proforma invoice do not change. U.S. sales tax Sales and use tax obligations depend on where the goods are delivered and on your state's economic nexus rules. Where we are required to register and collect, tax is calculated and shown at checkout. Where you are the importer of record, reporting and remitting any applicable state or local tax is your responsibility. Resellers should send us a valid resale certificate before the first invoice so we can flag the account correctly. Security and fraud Orders that trigger our fraud checks may be held for verification, and we may ask for proof of identity or of card ownership before dispatch. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order we cannot verify. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us will be contested with the delivery evidence on file. A pricing or typographical error does not create a binding contract. If a price is listed incorrectly, we will contact you before processing and you may confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

05 · California California Privacy Notice This section applies to residents of California and supplements the privacy policy above. It is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"). Categories of personal information collected In the last twelve months we have collected the following CCPA categories: identifiers (name, email, postal address, phone, IP address); customer records (billing and shipping details); commercial information (quotes, purchases and products considered); internet activity (browsing and interaction with our site); and inferences drawn from that activity for analytics. Sources are you, your browser, and our platform and advertising providers. Business purposes are stated in the privacy policy above. Sensitive personal information We do not collect or process sensitive personal information as the CCPA defines it, and we therefore do not use or disclose it for any purpose that would trigger a right to limit its use. Sale and sharing We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by the CCPA. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months, and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16. Your California rights
  • Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected, the sources, our purposes and the categories of recipients.
  • Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions such as completing a transaction or complying with tax law.
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing — nothing to opt out of here, but the right stands.
  • Right to non-discrimination: we will never deny you goods, charge a different price or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
How to exercise them Email contato@tjconfeccoes.com with the subject line "California privacy request", telling us which right you are exercising. We verify your identity by matching the details you give us against what we already hold, and we respond within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days if the request is complex. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission signed by you, and we may still contact you directly to confirm. Shine the Light California Civil Code section 1798.83 lets California residents ask, once a year and free of charge, about personal information disclosed to third parties for their own direct marketing. We do not disclose personal information for that purpose. Requests may be sent to the same address above. Proposition 65 California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act requires businesses to warn Californians about significant exposures to listed chemicals. Our garments are produced from polyester, polyamide and elastane fabrics selected for apparel use. Where a product we ship into California is subject to a Proposition 65 warning, that warning appears on the product page and on the packaging before you buy. If you need substance documentation for a specific fabric or trim, ask us and we will request it from the mill. Questions about any of this go to the same inbox and reach a person, not a ticket queue: contato@tjconfeccoes.com.
  • Derecho a corregir información personal inexacta.

06 · Terms Terms of Sale & Website Use By browsing this site, requesting a quote or placing an order you accept these terms. Where you have signed a separate supply agreement with us, that agreement governs and these terms fill the gaps. Orders and acceptance An order becomes binding only when we confirm it in writing and, for production orders, when the deposit clears. We may decline any order — including for insufficient capacity, credit concerns or a product we can no longer supply — and if we do, any amount already paid is refunded in full. Products and descriptions We describe our fabrics, weights and finishes as accurately as we can. Screen rendering varies, and dye lots vary within the tolerance stated in the returns section. Photographs are illustrative; the approved physical sample is the reference for any production order, which is exactly why we insist on one. Intellectual property
  • Ours: the TJ Confecções and Arraia Maori names, logos, designs, photographs and site content belong to us and may not be reproduced without written permission.
  • Yours: in private label production, your brand, artwork, patterns and tech packs remain entirely yours. We use them only to produce your order, we do not resell your designs to anyone else, and we do not display your brand as a client reference without your consent.
  • Your warranty to us: you confirm you own or are licensed to use every mark, logo and design you send us, and you agree to hold us harmless against any third-party claim arising from artwork you supplied.
Warranties and limitation of liability We warrant that goods are free from manufacturing defects and conform to the approved sample and specification. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the invoice value of the goods giving rise to it, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales or other indirect or consequential damages. Force majeure Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control — natural disaster, epidemic, strike, port closure, carrier failure, war, or government action including sanctions, tariffs and import restrictions. We will tell you promptly and agree a revised schedule. Governing law and disputes These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute by negotiation within 30 days. Failing that, the dispute is submitted to the courts of the district where our head office is located, unless a signed supply agreement provides for arbitration. Cookies We use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the store, cart and checkout; analytics cookies that tell us how the site is used; and advertising cookies that measure the performance of our campaigns. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the cart and checkout will not work properly without the necessary ones. We honor browser-level opt-out signals where the law requires it. Changes We may update these policies as our operation, our markets or the law change. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and the terms in force when your order was confirmed are the ones that govern it.
07 · Who you are buying from About TJ Confecções TJ Confecções is a Brazilian sportswear factory. For more than ten years we have produced premium dry-fit apparel for some of the country's best-known sportswear labels, and we built our own brand — Arraia Maori — on the very same production line. More than 500,000 pieces sold and a platinum seller badge on Latin America's largest marketplace came out of that line. Everything happens under one roof in Minas Gerais: fabric sourcing, cutting, sewing, printing, finishing and quality control. Nothing is brokered out to a workshop we have never visited, which is why we can hold a consistent standard on a first order of a few hundred pieces and on a repeat order of tens of thousands. Why U.S. brands work with us
  • Minimums a growing brand can actually meet. You do not need a container to start. You need a tech pack and a first run.
  • One factory, one point of contact. The person answering your email can walk to the sewing floor and look at your order.
  • Export paperwork handled. Commercial invoice, certificate of origin, fiber content and U.S. labeling requirements are routine here, not a first-time exercise.
  • Shorter distance than Asia. Ocean transit from Brazil to the U.S. East Coast is a fraction of a Pacific crossing, and air freight is viable when a launch date will not move.
  • Fair labor, verifiable. Our team is employed directly under Brazilian labor law, and we welcome audits and factory visits.
